The year ahead.
Our plans for this year’s crops are coming on well (despite the cold weather). We have planted new potatoes, peas, garlic, onions carrots, broad beans. We have delayed planting some crops because it has been so cold. For the first time, this year, we have asked members to grow some modules and these are coming on well. These include leeks, turnips, cucumber, courgettes, runner beans and French beans. We have also asked STAR (a horticultural company near Blyth who work with people with learning disabilities) to grow the rest of our modules.
